Saunders Butterfly Valves

The Saunders RS valve consistently provides bubble-tight, corrosion free performance, even in the most demanding applications. The seat is vulcanized to a firm back-up ring which allows the valve to be used for many high velocity flow rates and also improves its overall performance. The valve seat acts as the flange seal, eliminating the need for gaskets.

This resilient seated butterfly valve design handles a wide range of corrosive fluids safely without the need for frequent parts replacement. The RS is valued not just for its superb reliability but also for its minimal maintenance requirement.

Actuators have been pre-sized. Configure valve and then select actuators based on maximum shutoff pressure. Options include solenoid valves, limit switches, speed controls and manual overrides.

Saunders Pneumatic Double Acting Actuated RS Butterfly Valves
The Saunders RS butterfly valves are actuated with Revo PQT pneumatic rack & pinion double acting actuators. Actuators are direct mounted to valve providing a clean compact assembly.

Saunders Pneumatic Spring Return Actuated RS Butterfly Valves
The Saunders RS butterfly valves are actuated with Revo PQT pneumatic rack & pinion actuators, configured for spring return fail-safe action. Actuators are direct mounted to valve providing a clean compact assembly.

Saunders Electric Actuated RS Butterfly Valves
The Saunders RS butterfly valves are actuated with Triac E Series electric actuators. Actuators are bracket mounted to valve with stainless steel mounting hardware.

Electric actuators are corrosion resistant NEMA 4X and are designed for maximum cycle life with rugged motors and gear trains. Standard features include (2) extra switches, compartment heater, and manual overrides.
